Standard Returns

Unmodified, as built watches and components may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund less a 20% restocking fee. Returned items must be unworn and in original condition, with all packaging, papers, and accessories included. Signs of wear, sizing, or modification void eligibility.

Final Sale — Non-Returnable

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded for any reason other than manufacturing defect:

  • Watches with custom engraving on the case, caseback, rotor, movement, or any other component
  • Watches incorporating customer-supplied logos, artwork, or dial designs
  • Watches built to bespoke specifications outside our standard catalog (custom dial colors or finishes, non-standard hand sets, non-standard movements, etc.)
  • Components made or modified to fulfill a specific custom commission

Each custom watch is built to order and has no resale market. All such orders become non-cancelable and non-refundable once component sourcing begins.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your watch arrives damaged in transit or exhibits a manufacturing defect, contact me within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. Rocinante Watches will repair, replace, or refund at my discretion at no cost to you. This warranty does not cover damage from wear, water exposure beyond stated rating (the rating may not match what is printed or engraved on components), impact, or unauthorized service.

Return Process

  1. Email [email protected] with your order number and reason for return to request a return authorization.
  2. Ship the item, via insured and tracked shipping. Buyer is responsible for return shipping and for the item until it is received. Returns sent without authorization will be refused.
  3. Returns will be inspected within 5 business days of receipt.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of inspection. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except in cases of our error or a defective product.
